Morton County Care Center is Committed to Excellence in the Care of the Nursing Home Resident.

Adjusting to new surroundings is never easy, especially for those who are leaving their homes and moving into a nursing facility.  At Morton County Care Center , we pride ourselves in making the adjustments as easy as possible for both the resident and family members.  Our staff is available at all times to assist and answer any questions people may have regarding our facility and the care provided.

Morton County Long Term Care originally opened in February of 1981 as a forty-bed unit attached to Morton County Hospital .  We opened our doors at our present location in July of 1986.  Morton County Care Center is a licensed, sixty-bed Nursing Facility, which includes four deluxe private rooms, and fifty-six private rooms.  A special feature of the facility is that every resident has a large window, a private entrance and heating and cooling are adjustable within each room.

Price for the Care Center varies from year to year.  The daily room charge includes room, meals, nursing care, laundry services, recreational and therapeutic activities, and all social services.  Any personal items that a resident may need in addition (i.e., tissues, lotion, sterile dressings, adult briefs) are charged in addition to the daily charge.

In an effort to promote good health, Morton County Care Center is proud of its smoke-free policy.  Smoking by residents or staff is prohibited throughout the building.  Residents may however have chewing tobacco or snuff.  If one wishes to smoke, They may use the outside patios.
