Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways and other assigned areas of the health care facility.  Operates mechanical floor cleaners, polishers and vacuums.  Moves furniture and other heavy objects as required.  Performs terminal cleaning procedures of patients rooms and prepares rooms for new occupant following isolation procedures as appropriate.

The RN is a clinical practitioner who coordinates and implements patient care on the assigned unit.  Ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner.  Demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the Unit and Organization; remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habit and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians and families with consideration and respect.

Position Available at:  Morton County Hospital - Med Surg (FT - Variable) - Morton County Care Center (FT - Night Shift) - Morton County Special Care Unit (FT - Night Shift)

Administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents and maintains related medical records under supervision of Shift Supervisor Nurse by given direct patient care such as bathing, dressing and feeding residents, and assisting in examinations and treatments; takes vital signs or observes ingestions or other application, or administers medication; reports any significant changes in resident status to nurse supervisor.

Position Available at:  Morton County Hospital - Med Surg (PT - Variable Hours)

Assists with nursing care in the hospital by performing the following:  ADL's, answer call lights, and monitors patients, bed making, bathes, feeds patients and monitors patients food intake.  Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients.  Basic preventative and restorative care and procedures.  Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure and other vital signs and reports findings to supervisor.

Position Available at:  Morton County Care Center

Responsible for food preparation and meal service for the Care Center.  Assists in meal service, arranging tray card and loading food cart.  Performs other tasks as necessary and appropriate.

Position Available at:  Morton County Geropsych Unit / Swing Bed

Plans, and provides interactive, therapeutic activities, both individual and in groups.  Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of patient.  Documents activity assessments and patient progress per health system protocol.  Provides 8 hours of activities every other weekend.  Responsible for providing therapeutic activities for all swing bed patients and related documentation.  Activities Director certification preferred, but not required at time of hire.
