Delicious meals are served by a dietary staff under the direction of a Certified Dietary Manager and with a Registered Dietitian Consultant on staff.

Residents look forward to a full schedule of activities every month.  The Activity Director provides interesting and often times adventurous activities including:  Exercise programs, Craft, Bingo, Parties, Fishing Trips, Games, (Horseshoes, Dominoes, Cards), Holiday Celebrations, Men Breakfast, Story Time, Mixed Generational Programs, , Pet Therapy, Church Services, Current Events, Transportation to Shopping Excursions.

Morton County Care Center with the cooperation of the Physical Therapy Department at Morton County Hospital provides evaluations of Care Center residents in order to "help the residents help themselves".  Programs offered by the Physical Therapy Department include arthritis care, stroke rehabilitation and post-fracture management.

Social Services are provided to residents and family members under the direction of a Social Service Designee with the supervision of a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker.  Specifically, it is the responsibility of this department to serve as an advocate for residents and their families.  In doing so, they will conduct periodic interviews with the residents and /or family members to ensure that the Residents Rights are enforced.  Information and documentation regarding Living Wills and Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care Decisions are available to assist with applications to Kansas Medicaid and Veterans Administration.

Other services provided are Music Therapy, Rehabilitation Services, Laundry, and Housekeeping.

The Aviary is a marvel to our residents and others.  Beautiful birds adorn the controlled environment.  Residents and visitors have the opportunity to see doves hatch and many baby birds come from the high nests.

A secure outside activity area is available and enjoyed by all residents.
